NEXT EDITIONS

International Summer School in Conservation of Historical, Monumental and Archaeological Sites 2014

At the moment the program for the 2014 edition is not yet fully organized. Most probably the set of the lectures will be similar to that of the previous editions. The lectures will take place at the Faculty of Engineering in the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and in other places in Rome in order to promote the residential character of the School.

STAGES

The following proposed programmes arise from some specific requests from the participant at the Summer School on Cultural Heritage at University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. The programmes are related to specific subjects, which time in time could be proposed by some teacher from the Summer School on Cultural Heritage. The programmes are proposed in the way of “Stage”. Usually it means that the participant will not pay the office/team/laboratory where he will be trained, as well as he/she will not be paid for his/her help. The compensation of the work will be the practice and the training activity inside a high professional team. If the stage will last more than what foreseen, it can be possible that the participant could be asked to prolong the period of staying, being paid (once he reached some level of experience) for his collaboration. Usually the entire stage is completely under the responsibility of the supervisor of that stage.

The Summer School on Cultural Heritage of Rome “Tor Vergata” will give his logistic support for what is in his power, as, for instance, contact with Guest houses in the Campus, special permission to access some archaeological area, some invitation for foreign guest. At the end of the Stage it can be possible to organize at “Tor Vergata” University a workshop where to present a short report of the performed activity.
