Innovative Structural Safety Monitoring System
An innovative system for
wireless real-time monitoring of stresses in buildings, both existing and new
buildings, in order to record their response and assess their safety during
their life cycle and in particular during earthquakes or other extreme
environmental actions. Demonstration of this system is given through live
experiments with the aid of scale models and tensegrity structures.
